@coldwars Why is creating an online presence so important to people? We live in such a judgmental self centered society I feel. People end up comparing their lives to other people by looking at others through social media which can cause others to feel like their life isn't great #citmt650

There is no reason for children to be on certain social media and talk about each other and say mean things, that can lead to bigger problems. Children are getting sucked into this. #citmgt650

But again, how do you explain the lack of social skills children are growing up when all they do is stare at their phone and live in the online world? Yes, I can agree that we can all learn from this different mean of communication but.. #citmgt650

@tjoosten However, on other social media sites(Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/Snapchat- those are pretty much not specifically geared toward age ranges, Facebook I think people of all ages use that. The other sites, you could say middle school- young professionals use those. #citmgt650

@tjoosten That is true, I can see your point that different social media outlets have different people you connect to. Honestly, Linkedin is more suited for professionals and professionalism is expected of the user who are on LinkedIn. #citmgt650

What aspects of social media are acceptable for children to know at a certain age? You must admit that social media can be abused by children learning from other external forces. #citmgt650
