@danskiza Yep Talk Sport.
Far better sources have said there is no SCR issue, it’s cash flow.
Neither of us know for sure mate, but I know who I believe.
I think we’ve tried to play hardball. Not worth much if we have to pay wages for another year before losing them for free.
@GregM2302@FollowEverton Physicality can be developed. But everything Barkley lacked, and Armstrong has in spades, is far far harder to develop.
He’s going to the top in my opinion, it’s obvious to me, but only time will tell.
@GregM2302@FollowEverton Again mate it’s all opinions so I’ll caveat this next bit with that, I don’t know better…
But Barkley always had brilliant physical attributes, but technique, composure, decision making, attitude, were terrible at 19 and remained that way
Armstrong is the opposite.
🚨 BREAKING:
Moskowitz: "Do you think the Epstein list should be released?"
Farage: "I don't have an opinion on that."
Raskin: "He's reportedly called for its release."
Moskowitz: "There it is. Do you agree with your position?"
@danskiza First, it’s a cash flow, not SCR issue apparently. So TFG could fix it but are clearly fed up injecting cash.
Second, we’ve had to pay Burnley £40m, and haven’t sold Beto, Alcaraz, Patterson, McNeil, Tim, all of whom we probably expected to, for probably at least £50-60m total.
@Themiller999 Played 32 games last year, spurs’ top goal scorer and would’ve been ours too.
Also the second best goalscorer in our premier league history by some distance.
I understand being against it at the price, all that said though mate. But he does improve us.
@GregM2302@FollowEverton 2 in the last 20 years then. And it’s all opinions mate, but if you think either Rodwell or Barkley looked better players or prospects at 19, there’s not much more we can talk about here matey.
We’ll see anyway, it’s football, plenty can happen yet.
@GregM2302@FollowEverton You’re going to be well known for this tweet in a few years mate.
5-10 talents who have achieved more at 19? Pray, do tell.
In a world where Anderson and Rodgers are worth £120m at 5 years older than HA, it’s not such a wild statement is it.
@Benjwinst I think we’re a better squad that last year.
But uninspiring overall.
I was fine with Ndiaye leaving because he wanted to, but him leaving because we seem to need to sell is seriously depressing. Not what we were promised (LAST WEEK!)
@terrymcallister Garner is a POTS and the midfield desperately needs a Nordgaard or equivalent in the 6, that has been bloody obvious both games this season.
Keane won’t start, and Grealish should be starting ahead of any of our wingers, he is practically guaranteed to offer more G/A
@Littlefield79 Tete and Nordgaard have been signed for a combined £16m, nothing these days, no sell on value needed.
Grealish is big wages, it’s a free player otherwise, so sell on again meaningless really.
Richarlison however…. £35m is bonkers, though the market itself inflates that a bit.
@TheGoodisonMole Past it but still would’ve been our top goal scorer last season, comfortably out scored any of our players in a terrible spurs team.
It’s not a very good deal overall, but it is not worse than selling Armstrong to Forest for £35m mate.
@NilSatisNews Look it’s not brilliant business overall.
But between them, they certainly replace Ndiaye’s 9 G/A last year.
Shorttermism but I do think it improves us this year.
