@RJSmith_BFC@ColoradoRapids@MLS Yeah, maybe he realised he hit his level. Not knocking the choice, just stating how poor a standard I think the MLS is compared to the Champ.
@RJSmith_BFC@ColoradoRapids@MLS Possibly. If anything you have strengthened my point but I'm not knocking his decision to do that. His priorities are clear.
@Pa24109982Pan@ColoradoRapids@MLS Fair. The move clearly shows his priorities and that's absolutely fine. He's probably on a decent whack and the MLS has definitely improved recently.
It's still miles behind even the second tier of English football. Players go there to retire and cash in.
Fair comment. Slightly different circumstances in that he moved earlier in his career and managed to come back to English football and be really successful. Whittaker was successful at Plymouth and had a really good season last year. Personally, as an established Championship winger I find it difficult to believe he is moving to test himself and progress his game. For me, it looks a move for money and lifestyle, which is also fine.
What a tremendous role model Mike Dean is for young referees. If he did do what he's admitted, you just wouldn't ever come out and say it.
'It's not about you, Mike'...
Mike Dean has a lot to answer for. Poch was right to go after him as he was as heβs admitted βplaying gamesβ @PGMOL_FA need to give us a full explanation.
@BenjoHopp@Dines_11@ChesterfieldFC This is a great point - I assume Bolton are still subsidising his wages massively for him to move out on loan to L2. Thought he would have some suitors in L1 so that did surprise me.
He had no control whatsoever over what Bolton paid for him so it's unfair to judge him based on the price. Was more judging that if a club like Bolton, who were challenging for promotion for a few years and hadn't paid over one million for a player in some time, for them to decide to do that with Randall surely holds some gravitas in the club thinking highly of him. Had a good output the season and a half before moving to Bolton, too. Didn't see him much at Exeter tbf
@Dines_11@ChesterfieldFC Tend to agree with this take, Neil. Showed it in flashes at Bolton and every time I saw him at Peterborough you could see his ability. I don't watch posh week in week out like some so maybe their opinion is more informed!
@Nimrod57@ChesterfieldFC Looks that way! Can't help with Evatt getting the sack days after signing him and obviously hasnt made much of an impression under Schumacher.
