@TavTone @AlamoCityHoops1 @pwfree23 1 umpire, 2 for bracket play. We aren’t in it for profit. It’s volunteer so that elementary and middle school kids can play competitive ball. Teams take their own video and do with it what they wish.

I recognize that the high school, PG, PBR, AAU model is quite different.

Totally understand it has to be either entry fee or gate fee to cover expenses and time. $700 has seemed to be a nice landing spot for us. 3-4 game tournament. Make xtra $$ at concessions.

We’re actively discouraging people from coming to watch and cheer for youth and high school athletics because of $30 weekend passes to watch 3 basketball or baseball games.

Why not just get your dollars in the entry fee?

@wjeffpetty 1999, at least. Last year I played LL rules (foot on base, no steals until ball crossed the plate) was 8u coach pitch.

@StanKeybox @RobinWashut Pre-freshman year at UCLA he was on a lot of draft boards to be a 1 or 2 year player and go to the league. Those dreams don’t evaporate. I’m not saying I think he’s an NBA player, but he and his agent likely disagree.
