Just read that @amazon locked Brandon Jackson out of his Smart Home because of false accusations of racism. Scary that they can do this to anyone. Amazon: your customers deserve to know why such drastic action was taken!

We don't think alike just because we have the same skin color so I just subscribed to Journal of Free Black Thought https://t.co/55JPDoawSt

After sitting in traffic for 45 minutes backed up to get onto the Newport Naval Base and finding out the AC wasn't working I turned around and went home to work. FUBAR!

[Beth Geesey-Holmes @EGHLibrarian]

@readtailedhawk Thanks! I'm back in now too. Why couldn't ALA have made this a whole lot easier!

[Beth Geesey-Holmes @EGHLibrarian]

@WitBeyndMehsure Me too.

[Beth Geesey-Holmes @EGHLibrarian]

@camping007 I'm trying not to be too annoyed but I'm glad I only paid the $60 member rate!

[Beth Geesey-Holmes @EGHLibrarian]

@erikaslong @alaannual Yes! I log in and it let's me in then crashes and I have to start over with the same result.

Misty Copeland's session was a delight and very insightful. Can't wait for Bunheads coming in September. #alaVirtual20 Gotta love a prima ballerina with biceps.

[Beth Geesey-Holmes @EGHLibrarian]

Me too. I love ballet & my daughter is a dancer. I've always admired Misty. #ALAVirtual20

[Beth Geesey-Holmes @EGHLibrarian]

@FFLibraries @eliz_henry @alaannual I thought it was my internet as well. It's 15 minutes later and I still can't get in -- at this point I've missed too much of the session. All this annoyance makes me wish I'd just signed up for the recordings since I'll be listening to at least one session that way!

Excited to be attending "Empowering Student Workers" session of #ACRLtogether2020

[Beth Geesey-Holmes @EGHLibrarian]

@FSkornia Thanks. It's still not showing on the #ALLexchange site. I'm pretty tech savvy and this site profile photo is the hardest thing I've ever tried to do. It should be simple if people are going to do it.

[Beth Geesey-Holmes @EGHLibrarian]

#ALLexchange Does anyone know how to get a profile photo to show on the conference website. I've set up a photo using Gravatar but still no photo on my profile.

[Beth Geesey-Holmes @EGHLibrarian]

@blendedlib I got the App to work on my iPad and the audio is okay. Don't know why my iMac isn't working with app.

[Beth Geesey-Holmes @EGHLibrarian]

I'm attending #ALLexchange. Listing to talk on Power and change. Wish I could get the Adobe Connect App to work as the browser connection isn't great. :-(

Tried a new recipe to use the eggplant a coworker gave me. Broiled with a mixture of 1/4 C Greek yogurt, cumin, garlic and salt spreed on top. Then add chopped tomatoes and feta cheese.… https://t.co/J8GLJxQmrT
