@AbdelStark A real solution: grab a #multiversX wallet, wrap btc into our native format, switch on the Guardian, 20 days later activate it, then hit https://t.co/UhaplA18r7 & activate #uberGuardian. A hacker who gets your seedphrase has only a #1inaT % of getting your btc. (1 in a trillion).
@MultiversX Well articulated! When this critical juncture is met with the same creative energy as what the Guardian brought to bear, this stack will be THE stack that the rest of crypto will recognize as the apex of current design.

This article honors the many who showed #proofOfTrust, the #heistArmy, who were the volunteer community energy unlike any ever seen in crypto! Imagine pushing your own crypto into a public wallet with a leaked seedphrase! What are we, nutz?

An account on MultiversX has its seed phrase printed in a public profile, next to the words “try it.” Seventy-three addresses have put money into it anyway.
Two and a half years and two hundred break-in attempts later, the money is still there. https://t.co/sLewKKM5ZK

@GiorgioRoth@cz_binance Do you think @cz_binance dares respond here? I suspect not, but welcome his curiousity. The challenge for most "big names":: vested interest and/or sponsorships that require not acknowledging when there is a better way outside their sphere.
More than 800 days later and peeps are still banging at the @EGLDHeist door! Trust that I am vigilant like the #guardian, vanguarding every "sat" the #heistArmy has trusted us with*, all in the world's most tested wallet:

@EgldHeist A bit of history i have never shared. While reviewing some work, this memory popped up in my mind, so i thought to share it. The phrase matters.
@GaryCardone and all speakers thanks for this yesterday. The Space last night and the Coldcard incident made something obvious again. Another ~$70M+ in Bitcoin vanished because having the seed was still enough. Offline reconstruction. No device needed. The same failure mode that has cost the industry billions.Yet most of the timeline remains focused on promoting the next token instead of the tech that actually protects assets.
A working solution has already been live and publicly battle-tested for three years: @MultiversX Guardians protocol-level on-chain 2FA. Its either many are unaware or a desire to not engage because it is not a token they hold.
Once an account is guarded, the network itself rejects any transaction missing the guardian co-signature. Seed fully compromised? Funds still cannot move. They proved it in the open. MultiversX ran the original 2023 “Great Heist,” publishing the complete seed of a guarded account and inviting the world to try to drain it. No one succeeded. The community has continued that testing ever since through @EgldHeist go see for yourselves if you can get the funds in there , led by @wdrewcurry. Public seed leaks.
Ongoing real-world stress tests. Still zero successful drains of properly guarded accounts. As @beniaminmincu has said for years, @multiversxfndn was never built to compete with Bitcoin or Ethereum in a zero-sum way - the wider goal has always been to complement them and raise the standard for the entire space.
This is the kind of primitive that raises the security floor for the industry as a whole - Bitcoiners, DeFi users, institutions, and the large majority of people who will never become operational-security experts. We can keep spending energy only on token narratives…or we can start directing attention toward the few pieces of tech that have already been stress-tested in public against the exact attack that just happened again. The tools exist.
The community has kept testing them. The missing piece the collective focus and would be nice for the space to rally around this.

For years, crypto has lived by one of its best-known truths:
"not your keys, not your crypto."
While working on the security model behind EGLDHeist, I found myself asking whether that was really the end of the story... or simply where the next chapter needed to begin.
