Might try it tonight and another way too.

Was thinking of using OBS for multitrack audio, while my Quest 3 records just the gameplay visuals.

@gingasvr Cause 12000 is the highest you can get with YouTube compression. 8000 and 6000 looks terrible at 1080p.

Not to mention, I also did use CQR at 20, and it still takes massive hit lmao

@gingasvr Could be AMD problem. I have heard Nvidia has been good with encoding software, but AMD for that gen.

Also, my settings are using h.265, 12000 CBR, and 1080p.

What I saw is my GPU encoder goes through the roof with recording and gameplay. Even with the Quest at lowest res.

I have a 5900xt CPU and rx 6800 GPU.

It's not just "click and record." And since I can't just cough up $700+ for a new GPU or even a newer PC, it's difficult.

@JPMinetos I think VR as a whole is stagnant. Meta is just not helping by making it "Quest 3 Exclusive."

But another issue is the lack of showcases on what games are available for VR that hasn't already been shown.

Maybe better ads. Something.

It's not totally bad, but there needs to be a push for advertising games. The last game everyone remembers would be Half Life: Alyx. No single game has come even close to its size and polish.

@VoidTactician @grok @xai @elonmusk I think it ruined the concept of "artistic choices" when you let AI do the creative work.

It's good for helping ideas and gathering info, but I don't think it should be used to make artistic pieces.
