While everyone is focused on the hug, there’s something else that caught my attention in this picture…

That object beside Governor Adeleke on the sofa looks like a power bank.

And if that’s indeed what it is, then it perfectly sums up the Nigerian reality.

The people entrusted with fixing electricity have already accepted that power isn’t reliable, so they’ve equipped themselves with alternatives.

It reminds me of when the Federal Government approved solar power for Aso Rock while millions of Nigerians continue to battle darkness, spend fortunes on fuel, generators, inverters, and power banks just to survive.

If those responsible for providing stable electricity have moved on to backup plans, what hope is left for the ordinary Nigerian?

The real issue isn’t whether it’s a power bank or not. The issue is that we’ve normalized living with alternatives instead of demanding solutions.

A country blessed with enormous energy resources shouldn’t have its citizens permanently charging power banks, fueling generators, and praying for light.

We deserve better.

You are not preaching any gospel; you are constituting a nuisance. Have you ever wondered if non-Christians are there? Don't you think you might be inconveniencing them?

We really need to ban these types of activities. Religion and its practices should be a matter of personal choice. Evangelism should have gone past this stage. You can share flyers, use social media, or any other means that doesn't disturb public peace.

I don't understand why people will leave their houses in search of their daily bread, and you start disturbing them in public transport, marketplaces, parks, etc. Imagine if a traditional worshipper or a Muslim did the same thing.

To make it even worse, this preaching usually ends one way: soliciting for tithes, seeds, and offerings. You're in business, so why wouldn't you preach the gospel until your last breath? 😂

Imagine checking into a hotel with someone, and moments later or the next morning, you discover the person has kpaied.

Fèàr, §hàme, and panic may push you to flee the scene. But that single decision could turn you from a witness into the prime śùspect.

A sudden dèàth in a hotel room does not automatically mean a çŕìmè was committed, but your actions afterward can have serious legal consequences.

DON'T:

1. Run away from the hotel.
2. Move or hide the body.
3. Clean the room or ďèstroy evidence.
4. Delete messages, call logs.
5. Ask hotel staff to keep it secret.
6. Invent stories about what happened.

INSTEAD, DO THIS IMMEDIATELY:

1. Stay Calm, þanic will only make the situation wòŕse. Remain at the scene.
2. Call for Medical Help Immediately notify emergency medical personnel or the nearest hospital. Let qualified medical personnel confirm whether the person is truly dèàď.
3. Inform Hotel Management. Report the incident immediately so it is officially recorded.
4. Call your lawyer to Report to the Police, Notify the nearest police station without delay. A sudden or unexplained dèàth must be reported for investigation.
5. Cooperate FullyGive a truthful statement, explain the timeline of events, and disclose any medication, alcohol, food, or substances taken by the deceased if you know about them.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?

The police will secure the scene, take statements from you, hotel staff, and other witnesses, and document the room. Where necessary, the matter will be reported to the Coroner. The body will usually be taken to a government-approved mòŕťùary for a post-mòŕţem examination to determine the actual cause and time of dèàth. If required, the Coroner may conduct an inquest before authorising the release of the body.

WHY THIS MATTERS.

Not every person who ďìès during or after opueh was kpàied..

Dèàth may result from an undisclosed medical condition such as a hèàŕt àţtack, sţŕòke, ďŕùģ reaction, or other natural causes. Only a proper police investigation and a post-mòŕţem examination can establish the true cause of dèàth.

Many innocent people have found themselves facing serious çŕimiñàl investigations, not because they caused the dèàth, but because they þànicked, fled the scene, or tried to conceal what happened.

Running away does not prove you are ģùilty, but it creates şùspicion and may complicate investigations.

The safest legal response is simple: remain calm, report the incident immediately, preserve the scene, and allow the police, medical experts, and the Coroner to determine the facts.
