Podpisaliśmy ważną deklarację, otwierając nowy rozdział w badaniach nad Holokaustem. Europejska Infrastruktura Badań nad Holokaustem (#EHRI @EHRIproject) oficjalnie stała się częścią Europejskiego Konsorcjum Infrastruktury Badawczej (#ERIC).

W przeddzień 80. rocznicy wyzwolenia Auschwitz-Birkenau, w @polinmuseum , spotkaliśmy się z przedstawicielami dziewięciu krajów, żeby potwierdzić wspólne zobowiązanie do zachowania i udostępniania wiedzy o Holokauście.

To kamień milowy w międzynarodowej współpracy na rzecz ochrony pamięci i wspierania badań nad Zagładą. EHRI-ERIC umożliwi jeszcze szerszy dostęp do źródeł i archiwów, wspierając badaczy i edukatorów w ich misji.

To nasza odpowiedzialność, by historia nie była wykorzystywana jako narzędzie sporu, lecz żeby służyła refleksji i przestrodze. Zapobieganie wszelkich form dyskryminacji jest cały czas potrzebne.

Dziękuję wszystkim uczestnikom spotkania za wspólne wysiłki na rzecz pamięci i edukacji o tragicznych wydarzeniach naszej europejskiej przeszłości.
