Our senior spotlight today is Christina Haken! Christina has been apart of choir for six years including middle school, this is her third year in Encores! Christina served as one of alto captains this year. In the fall she plans to attend Samford University!

Next on our senior spotlights is Madelyn McGuffey! Madelyn has been apart of the choral department for 4 years and this year was her first year in Encores! Madelyn will be attending Wallace
Community College in the fall!

Back to our senior spotlights with Jordyn Cox! Jordyn has been apart of choir for 5 years! This is her 3rd year in Encores with us! Jordyn was also one of our Soprano captains this year! After high school she plans to continue her journey Auburn University!

Our next senior spotlight is Ashley Chapman! Ashley has been apart of the choral department for 6 years including middle school! This is Ashley’s 3rd year in Encores! After high school Ashley plans to continue her journey at UAB!

We asked each senior, “What does the choral department mean to you?”

Here is Morgan’s response:
“Encores to me is my future, what I want to create in my own classroom one day. My heart hurts that it is ending so abruptly ❤️” We will miss you Morgan!!

Up next for senior spotlights is Morgan Fisher! Morgan has been apart of the choral dept. for 6 years ! Morgan has been with us in Encores for 2 years! Morgan was one of our Alto captains for the year! After high school Morgan plans to continue her journey at Auburn University!

Haylie’s response:
encores means so much to me. it’s something i’ve always had a passion for and performing on stage with my friends is so fun! you meet lots of new people and make tons of fun memories. #ee4l

Our next senior spotlight is Haylie Eades! Haylie has been apart of the choral department for 4 years! This is Haylie’s 3rd year in Encores! This year Haylie was our girl’s dance captain! After high school Haylie plans to continue her school journey at ESCC!

We asked each of our seniors, “What does the choral department mean to you?”
He said:
“The EHS Choral Department has always felt like a second home to me. I love the feeling of going into a room with people I absolutely love and won’t judge me for who I am as a person.”

To kick of our senior spotlights is Chase Strickland! Chase has been in Encores since his freshman year! Chase was also our tenor captain this year! After high school, Chase plans to continue his journey at Troy. Thank you Chase for these past 4 years! We will miss you!❤️
