Having the privilege of teaching from Edd’s resources, I’ve been so impressed with how quickly student understanding has strengthened. Great pd listening to Edd talk about it too, understanding why his resources work. Worth checking out his @WeAreInBetaPod session on booklets!
Over the last year, our maths department at Blaise High School transitioned from a traditional spiral curriculum to a Year 7 mastery booklet model. As part of the @WeAreInBeta_ ‘Curriculum Thinkers Week 2026’, we are sharing our editable booklets, route map, and rationale.
@adamboxer1 Fully agree. What do TTA do in the maths department for systematic retrieval? Appreciate that’s quite a large question, but it’s something we’re needing to tackle soon.
We're hiring! Maths Teacher role in Bristol in a phenomenal school @BlaiseHighSch. Disruption free classrooms with full SLT backing, centralised curriculum, with exciting work being done on curriculum booklets. Best career decision I've ever made! Link in reply
Posting here in case there are any sane people left on this platform. Some really exciting roles about to drop @BlaiseHighSch. Get in touch if you want to be a part of this…

We are delighted that Blaise is the third most successful school for disadvantaged children in Bristol and the most successful, non - selective school for disadvantaged children in North Bristol. #workhardbekind@GreenshawTrust
@MrTaylorMaths2 I think these are great. I wonder if there is there a benefit to ordering the numbers? We don't want to introduce any unwanted misconceptions, but enables us to draw attention to mode = most occurring, not appears more than once?
Working at this school since September has changed my perception on what is possible in State education. Kids working hard every day becoming genuinely kind people. I feel very lucky to work here.
