We headed outside for @takemeoutside Day today! Ss used their five senses to make observations about what they could see/hear/smell/taste/touch. #TakeMeOutsideDay @EIMJaguars

Our soil fun continued today. Ss brought in 3 different samples of soil that they collected from outside their home or someone else’s home. They investigated the soils & filled out a chart while making observations. #GetDirty #SoilFun @EIMJaguars

On Tuesday, @EIMGrade3 headed outside to check out the gardens at our school. Their task was to see what kind of creatures lived in the soil. A blast was had by all! #SoilFun #OutdoorLearning @EIMJaguars

I made the mistake of telling the 3’s that the only spider I care for is Charlotte. The next a.m., it began: Let’s see how many X’s throughout the day we can scare Ms. Hughes. Spiders were strategically placed where they knew I would go. #FunnyKids #GenuineReactions @EIMJaguars

Last Friday Ss had to save Fred (the worm). He got stuck on top of the boat. Ss had to come up with a plan to get F’s lifesaver to him w/out using their hands. They all did a great job! Well done @EIMGrade3 #Challenge #TeamBuilding @EIMJaguars

Everybody needs a rock! Last week the Grade 3’s found and painted their own rocks. Today, they will put the finishing touches on their rocks and once dry, they will be placed in this vase in our classroom. #OurClassRocks @EIMJaguars

Balloon Pop #1 - we celebrated the last day of school today and we went out with a bang! The 1, 1/2, 2/3 & 3/4 classes enjoyed a glow stick dance party in the gym. We even had some of the 7 and 8s join us!!! @EIMJaguars #ThatsAWrap #BalloonPop #DanceParty

Balloon Pop #2 -Celebrating 2 days left of school. Play Day it was!!! Bouncy castle in the am & a full pm of activities, after a hotdog lunch that was provided by our school council. The Gr. 8s planned the activities & the Gr. 7s were group leaders. @EIMJaguars #FunInTheSun
