@social_parasite Hate how it’s termed as Autism Awareness month. For me it’s Autism Acceptance month. I feel like most know what autism is, just that acceptance of all on the spectrum is needed. Quirks and all, no matter what. Like we’re not meant to be ‘sob stories’ or little projects.
Never assume that just interacting with one autistic person, you’ve interacted with them all. It’s called a spectrum for a reason. We are all wired differently and each person is very unique with their needs. One day is good and then the next day is a struggle.

@TruthAutistic I thought people would have grown out of that school yard bullying type of mentality. Keep up the good work as an advocate for so many. ❤️
Being on the autistic spectrum can have its ups and downs. Sometimes it’s the intrusive obsessive thoughts that can be quite distressing and other times it’s the ability look at the finer details, which can be a huge benefit. #ActuallyAutistic#AutismAcceptance#Neurodivergent
My fur man turns 5 tomorrow! Can’t believe he’s been with my family for that long tbh. At times when he was a pup he caused so much mischief, he was almost booted out. But I still love him not matter what.❤️ #kelpiex#dogs2023#dog#dogsarefamily#doglovers
@forestvanslyke Had a customer I served at work once, who just lost their friend. So I asked if she wanted a hug and told her about my loss that happened 7 years ago. Also told her it does get better, but it takes time. I like to show that I can relate in my own way.
