My name is Dr. Suneel Dhand, and these are my 5 keys to a healthier and happier life.
I grew up and went to medical school in the UK, and have practiced in the USA for many years.
I don’t trust the medical system and my personal goal is to stay away from doctors. The thought of needing a daily pharmaceutical prescription sends shivers down my spine. I’ll do anything to avoid!
1. Minimize toxic junk entering your body.
Never put anything into your grocery cart without reading the ingredient label and screening for chemical names you don’t recognize. Ideally cook from scratch as much as possible.
ACTION POINT: Every time you eat, maximize protein and antioxidants (colorful vegetables/fruits) from natural sources
2. Move for an hour a day
This is non-negotiable. No matter how busy you are with work or family. That one hour is only 4% of your day, but you will have a boost for the remaining 96%.
For me personally, it’s an intense one hour gym session. But on the rare days that I can’t go to the gym— I will walk instead.
I am a massive fan of natural supplements, but no supplement in the world will substitute for moving your body. Movement also helps with managing stress and sleeping better.
ACTION POINT: You must move daily, combination of muscle strengthening and cardio. Ingrain it so much into your life that you feel icky if you don’t move.
3. Wait as long as possible before eating your first meal of the day
This helps keep your insulin levels naturally low, good because insulin is the fat storage pro-inflammatory hormone. Most people are pummeling their bodies with carbs and sugars first thing. This is an awful thing to do.
I try not to eat my first meal until the afternoon
ACTION POINT: Time restricted eating/intermittent fasting may work for you too. There is no universal rule that you have to eat as soon as you feel hungry. Hydrate yourself instead.
4.Cut the negativity
Make sure your 5 closest contacts in life, lift you up and bring you positive energy. You have to be absolutely ruthless about this. Obviously, you can’t choose your family— but you can still choose the five closest sources of your influence and energy. There are plenty of negative, whining, excuse-making people in the world— you will be much happier cutting them off
ACTION POINT: Audit your five closest contacts. Are they dragging you down or are they lifting you up? This also includes with health habits.
Also stop watching the news— you are only allowed to browse the headlines for maybe 10 minutes a day. Focus on what you control in life
5. Make it your mission to stay away from doctors and pharmaceutical products
Sure, life is unpredictable, and you may well need healthcare one day. But it should be the absolute last resort. As a doctor for many years, I do not trust the medical system one bit— and my nightmare is to get sucked into the medical industrial complex or daily prescriptions. That is not to say that doctors are bad people— just that the medical professionals is lost, and not in a good place right now. You and your family will have a much better life if you strive to stay away from that.
ACTION POINT: Do your own research, be curious, go online, use AI. I will tell you sincerely, some of the best advice I’ve ever got that has 10X my health and energy levels, has come from people who don’t have MD after their name.

@patriotprov2@libbyemmons Exactly!! From all I’ve been hearing is that they literally have the law on their side. They’ve written their policies so poorly that your dog could probably cast a ballot and it would count.
@KMOV The adults in the room (parents, officials etc) need to stand up and bring stability and security to this area. Listening to kids talk about what they want to do, when they don’t even know what they want to do, is fruitless. They don’t have those answers — because they’re kids.
@KMOV I have read your article. There is not a substantial quote from a teen in the article. One would think that if this was so crucial, they’d have something of value to say. Not demean kids, but they don’t have a lot to bring to the table re: violence in this area. 👇

The reason ID is banned in California (and New York) elections is to enable large-scale fraud.
When you combine no ID and mail-in voting, fraud is de facto legalized.

@DrNeilStone That argument goes right alongside, yes I got Covid (even though vaxxed), but it would have been much worse without the vaxx - BS - there is NO WAY that can be proven!! Does anyone believe in the pursuit of truth in science?? There is a method! Who follows it?? Seems like no one.
