@redheadranting Making your own bread is the gateway drug. Now I import my flour from Italy, have my own chickens, and am canning my extra garden produce.
@DC_Draino Prison is not the answer. The Nuremberg trials ended with a rope for most of the perpetrators, that seems like a rather mild option in this case.
@DripChud I can think of a handful of former friends that let perfect get in the way of good. They were very adamant about the type of man they would date and cut some amazing guys out of their life. I am the only one happily married with children.
@toastiii That’s the only way to start. You will likely be surprised by how well at least one type of plant does. Do that one the same way and adjust until you find what works for what you actually want to grow and eat.
@DanBurmawy I have 2 boys myself, this is why we found a small private school that has 2 recesses a day for everyone and has outdoor classes whenever possible.
@WodenWanderer I’m a woman who prefers to work for a male manager because there is generally less bullshit. This has become more and more difficult with the increased influence of HR and it is genuinely a shame.
@LadyHollowTree My most ornery chicken is broody at the moment. Useless endeavor as I can’t keep a rooster. I have resorted to heavy gloves when moving her to get the eggs. She is very lucky I am not inclined to eat her.
@gregcello What size are you using? The area we let them out in isn’t much bigger. I have to keep them out of my garden, they nibble at everything and I lose too much produce.
@electionsjoe I did not research the judicial candidates this time around so I left those races blank. Not something I like to do and I normally make the time but it didn’t happen this year. I don’t think that I should not make an uninformed choice so blank it was.
@MmisterNobody I managed a mortgage, car note, and all of my bills on $42K in 2012. I was single at the time but I don’t believe I could manage the same today and I make more than double what I was then.
@TheShawnHendrix Happened with my family. At the very least the largest portions were given to those who would continue farming. Property taxes eventually made it so none of the land is held by descendants anymore.
