It is important to consider the algorithms that exist when using apps such as Tik Tok. We must teach our students to be critical of the information they consume from apps that use an algorithm to determine which videos you see on your feed.

Turner and Hicks mention, "both/and" instead of "either/or" when thinking about print and digital texts. Adolescents gain valuable knowledge and skills from print AND digital texts. Therefore, we should encourage students to read both forms of text. #diglit6440
