I signed up for Twitter just before I delivered @thecsp Founders’ Lecture in 2013.
As President of @WorldPhysio1951 it was a really positive way of staying connected with #GlobalPT.
In my academic roles in @QU_Health@qataruni & in @tcddublin it was a super platform for seeing what my colleagues were up to & highlighting the work of the great people and institutions with whom I collaborate.
But it’s time to say good-bye. Lots of reasons. Time to head over to: https://t.co/SnwYxHDoli
What a wonderful Iftar event at the Global Room @tcdglobal yesterday! I'm truly sorry to have missed it—it looked like a special and meaningful gathering. Wishing everyone a blessed Ramadan. @tcddublin
This time 5 years ago, as the world closed its borders & went online, a project very dear to my heart was in its infancy.
Along with @JHaleATX@ldmorris29@JeremyLewisPT@Myriam_O
we designed & delivered a brilliant curriculum. Not going to be humble about this - it is remarkable!
It survived & was sustained due to fabulous & committed people - staff, faculty & students @QatarUniversity@QU_Health & the leadership of our Dean @HananHalabi & the support of friends & colleagues in #GlobalPhysiotherapy
And yes it survived, thrived and is now accredited by @WorldPhysio1951
My heart is full of joy 👏🏽🙏🏽
Monday marked the third anniversary of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. The Ukrainian society in Trinity and @UKRinIRL organised a very important event at @tcddublin to mark this occasion.
We continue to offer support to all our Ukrainian community.
Loved reading this blog by Sarah Wall - a 3rd year @tcddublin@TCDHistHum & @TCDPoliticalSci student - who decided to do an internship to understand more about archiving
Her work was cataloguing letters sent from W.G. Bond to George Francis Fitzgerald
@TCDCareers
Welcome back to the RDS Digital Archive Blog Series! In this edition we explore “The Letters of George Francis Fitzgerald”, a renowned 19th century physicist from Ireland. It just so happens that Fitzgerald died this day 124 years ago! Read the blog here: https://t.co/NQ6AI8fi8S
Today, we celebrate the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, honouring their achievements and inspiring the next generation of science leaders! #WomenInScience
Last night was truly special as we celebrated our incredible Global and European Excellence Scholarship Award winners!🎉
Here's to a bright future ahead at @tcddublin ✨
Last week, the very first Titanic Belfast - Trinity College Dublin Undergraduate Scholarship was awarded, supported by Titanic Belfast through its Titanic Belfast Community Impact Fund.
It was such a great pleasure to meet Diarmuid Hanna, the first recipient of the award, and his family at the event.
Diarmuid was one of dozens of first-year @tcddublin students from Northern Ireland who applied for the award.
Designed to support and encourage students from Northern Ireland to avail of the Trinity educational experience, the scholarship, will be offered to students annually for an initial period of five years. It provides a bursary of €5,000 a year throughout a four-year undergraduate degree.
We’re enormously grateful to @TitanicBelfast and I was delighted to meet Judith Owens CEO of Titanic Belfast International at the event.
Lots a smiles and fun as we celebrated our Entrance Exhibitioners this week.
Students from almost 550 schools in Ireland and their principals attended.
We were also thrilled to celebrate as a smaller number of students who from come schools in other countries.
I was so excited to meet Faye Terry at the @BTYSTE last week.
Her project Mind Over Matter which featured in the @IrishTimes was about the very positive impact of Physiotherapy post spinal fusion surgery on both physical and mental health outcomes.
It was great to see so many exciting projects in the health & well being category.
@_ISCP_@WorldPhysio1951
We’re absolutely thrilled to be at the @BTYSTE ! It’s been fantastic to meet so many passionate students exploring their futures in education at @tcddublin.
