Summer Scholars working hard to create shadow boxes that reflect aspects of Dominican culture. Our novel study this summer is Julia Alvarez’s Before We Were Free, so we’re creating some background knowledge 😍
@teachinaTARDIS As someone who made the switch from librarian to teacher, you’re doing amazing. Consider placing a QR code in each teacher’s room that links to a google site w/ the important info. That way you’re not flooding inboxes or adding to their paper pile. Plus kids can access info too!

Yesterday, as a kid walked by my class during class change, he said “you look like a fun teacher.” I said “thanks, but why?”
He said, “music is blaring in your room and I saw you dancing and smiling as you walked out here”
