@eva_goins@LeoAdamsMS Eva! Two of your poets came to my room. When they finished, they showed me their poems. They brought tears to my eyes. Love this and love you. ❤️
@MsWilson03 Oh my word!
Side note: Have you ever read the book of Benjamin Button? It's so sad. I didn't realize it was written by F. Scott Fitzgerald till I came across it in print.
As our students walk through our hallways, do we see data points and test scores? Or do we see the hearts of the children that walk by us? As our colleagues walk by us in the hallways, do we see the science teacher or the person that science teacher is?

@McCowanWinston@lindsay_mccowan I saw Mt. Rushmore when I was about seven years old and we visited my uncle in Faith, SD. I will never forget that trip. It's amazing, isn't it?
@MatriceRaven Here's the effort I make in my classroom.
#3 in my slides every day: when my kids see it, they pull out their IDs and put them around their necks (or order one with the QR code).
I also sometimes greet them at the door with, "stranger danger." 🤣🤣🤣
@MsWilson03 I had a Holly Hobbie Colorform set too! I also still have my little doll, and when I was about 12 years old, I made a Holly Hobbie doll from a Simplicity pattern.
@ItsmeGrigio @unprocast It's not generational.
I'm a boomer, and I prefer to email.
My admin are mostly millenials, and they push for phone calls because it confirms two-way communication, which I understand.
If parents don't respond to my email, I call them.
