Corbyn Labour Social Justice for the many not the few. Alternative views on social cohesion and organisation. Accountability of media, politicians and us
@woolhatwoman@CorbynistaTeen They know. UCL and LSE! Top schools for the brightest. They just have topsy turvy priorities and don't care about creating distopia for lower classes. I guess they'll never see the distopia because their Tory friends in the media studies and journalism will never report it.
The student Tory clubs of University College London, London School of Economics and Kings College London just voted in favour of privatising the NHS. That’s the future of the Tory party. Young people aren’t going to magically save us - we need an alternative.
People can’t grasp a Billion!
37 Million seconds make up ONE YEAR and 42 days
37 Billion seconds make up
1,147 YEARS
The £37 Billion for Test & Trace is not accounted for. It is impossible to see how it could have been legitimately spent
Stinks of CORRUPTION!
Bankers will be as delighted with the Chancellor’s gift of a £4bn tax cut as he appeared to be when he failed to deliver for the most vulnerable, skipped over a proper minimum wage and/or a decent pension (the triple-lock) & hastened climate change (cutting air passenger tax)
Last week Conservative MPs voted to allow water companies to dump raw sewage into our rivers.
The Tories are all talk on the environment. Every time, they choose to put the interests of big business ahead of people and planet.
Jeremy Corbyn wanted to bring water companies back in to public ownership, but this was "Communism" apparently so the country instead voted to bring back cholera, dysentery, hepatitis A, typhoid & much more.
There are crises all across the world, and the existential crisis of ecological breakdown, but the biggest crisis of all is that most people don't use critical thinking to understand where we are at as a species, and instead accept the shit that's fed to them by capitalist media.
The SHIT issue is not the worst thing the Johnson Regime has done
BUT it is such a powerful metaphor for everything they have done, that it will - should - haunt them
@Jennyfurfuls I am socialist and royalist until there is a viable alternative. Sure, there can be reform on expenses and elite lobbying. But I view the Monarch essential for the country's stability. Being non-partisan, head of the church, the Monarch bond's the country during power transfers.
The £37 billion cost of the useless Coronavirus Test & Trace scam must rank as the largest theft in UK history.
That no one will be held accountable for it tells us how low we have fallen as a society.
Yesterday evening, 265 Tory MPs voted down an amendment to stop private water companies from dumping raw sewage into the UK’s rivers and coastlines. Why would @GillianKeegan , MP for Chichester, whose harbour is assailed by sewage regularly, vote this down?
Today the Prime Minister got his Westminster MPs to kill legislation banning '#FireandRehire'. The politicians have failed, it is time for the trade Union movement to take the lead. If we are forced outside of the law to defend working people, so be it. Enough is enough.
