She has recently been selected as an inaugural Black Women in Executive Leadership (B-WEL) Fellow for 2023-2024 and also been named one of the Global Top 100 Most Influential People of African Descent under 40 in the Humanitarian Sector!

From the Graça Machel’s private office, our Office of the Founder, Leila plays a pivotal role in supporting Graça Machel in her leadership of our institution and advances multifaceted global advocacy agendas in conjunction with numerous social justice organisations worldwide.
