He doesn't just want someone to hurt you.

He wants your pain to convince you to abandon the character of Christ.

The world tells us:

"Make them pay."

"They deserve to feel what they made you feel."

"Don't forgive them."

But Jesus calls us to something infinitely greater.

Think about that for a moment.

If another person's sin causes me to become bitter...

If their hatred produces hatred in me...

If their anger becomes my anger...

Then they haven't only wounded me.

They've begun reshaping my heart.

𝗗𝗼����'𝘁 𝗟𝗲𝘁 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗛𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗻!

Forgiveness ISN'T pretending nothing happened.

It isn't calling evil "good."

It isn't removing healthy boundaries or pretending trust doesn't need to be rebuilt.

Forgiveness is refusing to let another person's darkness become the architect of your future.

Jesus didn't merely teach those words.

HE LIVED THEM.

As the nails pierced His hands...

As the crowd mocked Him...

As the spotless Son of God suffered for guilty sinners...

He prayed,

That WASN'T weakness.

That was THE GREATEST DISPLAY OF STRENGTH the world has ever witnessed.

The cross shattered the cycle.

Hatred met love.

Violence met mercy.

Judgment was answered with grace.

And now Jesus invites us to walk that same path.

Someone's face has come to mind.

Someone who hurt you.

Or perhaps someone you've hurt.

Don't ignore what the Holy Spirit may be showing you.

Lay the bitterness down.

Confess what needs to be confessed.

Seek forgiveness where you can.

Extend forgiveness where it's needed.

Because Peace doesn't begin when EVERYONE ELSE changes.

Peace begins when WE SURRENDER OUR HEARTS to the One who already has.

Hurt people often hurt people.

But people who have truly been healed by Christ...

Become the very people who stop the cycle.

Oil is abiotic. It is a liquid mineral cooked deep in the Earth’s mantle under crushing pressure and scorching heat. It is the natural lubricant for tectonic plates and the grease that keeps the planet’s massive gears turning smoothly.

That is why wells drilled dry in the 1970s are filling back up again today. The Earth is pumping fresh oil from below and regenerating it nonstop. It does not run out. We are sucking the lubricant out of the planet’s engine and now the whole machine is starting to shake.

The so-called “fossil theory” is the greatest economic hack in human history. Real crude oil has almost zero biological markers.
