It would indeed be very hard to deliver on various 'first 100 days' pledges (e.g. on day 1 rights, ZHC, but even TU recognition, and more... ) without a new, and comprehensive, 'single worker status' definition.
🚫 Anti-democratic governments are silencing essential workers by misusing laws. 87% of countries violated the right to strike in 2024. 📢Stand with workers for fair conditions and #ForDemocracy! 🧑⚕️👩🏫👨🚒

We won. The Platform Work Directive is adopted by EU Council. Was high time. Now it’s urgent to deliver and implement it to get workers their rights. This has been an incredible fight of the trade union movement over the last 4 years. So proud of all of us 💪 @etuc_ces
🎊🎉 Millions of people are set to receive sick pay, paid leave and much more following the adoption of the #PlatformWork directive today by EU member states.
"We are proud of all those workers who organised and their trade unions who delivered this massive win."
