The boys couldn’t get the goal and LJR held on for the win and they deserved the win.

The Alan Ball Academy entertained LJR from the Isle of Wight today on the @jnrpremleague at @KingGeorgeVHFA today.

The boys started well when Chase finished off a quick attack to make it 1-0.

It was nearly 2-0 but Jude sees his effort cannon off the post away to safety

As football goes the boys were punished as they conceded a penalty and number 14 blasted the ball home to make it 1-2.

Number 14 completed his hat trick as the boys switched off and were punished at the back.

After Havant & Waterlooville Hawks had scorted to make it 5-3, the 3 points are in the bag as Olly gets his 2nd of the game and East Lodge Spitfires 6th to make it 6-3.

The goal of the game came from Thomas as he picks the top corner of the Havant & Waterlooville Hawks net with a stunning strike to make it 5-2.

Miller doubles his tally for the day with his 2nd goal of the game and the Spitfires 4th of the day against Havant & Waterlooville Hawks in the Portsmouth Youth League.

The confidence in the team his lifted and the Spitfires are rewarded with a 3rd goal as Olly gets into the Havant & Waterlooville Hawks box and finds the bottom corner to make it 3-2 to the Spitfires.

Early in the second half, the East Lodge Spitfires draw level against Havant & Waterlooville Hawks as he finds the far corner from inside the penalty area.

After being 1-0 down, Miller collects the ball and fires into the back of the Havant & Waterlooville Hawks net to open his account for the season.

Olly then sealed the win with a close range header to make it 6-3 and give the East Lodge Spitfires their first ever 3 points in competitive football.

Miller got his second of the day as he found the far corner to make it 4-2.

Thomas then scored the goal of the game from distance to make it 5-2.

Havant & Waterlooville Hawks pulled a goal back to make it 5-3

Parker had the ball in the back of the Havant & Waterlooville net but it was ruled out for offside. Miller then equalised with a low shot to make it 1-1.

Havant & Waterlooville went into half time 2-1 up. In the second half, Jude fired another equaliser before Olly scored
