Seeing my dad use a walking stick and struggling to move and praying while sitting humbled me very well, years ago he was so strong and full of life, may Allah grant them shifa and keep them long enough for us ๐๐พ
Back in the day, I had a friend from Liberia.
Her parents were upper-middle-class and lived in Monrovia.
She said they woke one day to find rebels at the doorstep of Monrovia, and there was a mad dash to the airport. She said a country had sent planes to evacuate its citizens from Liberia, but the Liberians were buying the seats on those planes to escape.
Her parents could only afford to send her; she never saw them again.
I asked, โThis war didn't start in one day; why didn't you leave earlier?โ
She said, โWe simply heard about an attack here and there and never assumed it would come to Monrovia.โ
Surgeons: โWeโll open and fix it if itโs broken.โ
Other doctors: โLetโs first rule out 12 differentials, order 9 tests, review guidelines and maybe consult someone who already opened it.โ
Same patient. Two philosophies.

On this Pentazocine issue, patients will whine you.
Once I notice the patient trying so hard to get penta, I tell the nurse to administer Aquapenta and it works like magic.
You are better off forgetting your rich relatives exist fa, times have changed. People are more concerned about getting the latest TV than they are about helping you.
