Idc what your political affiliation is, forcing a minimum wage hike forces business to correct for that hike. I.e. Product price inflation, cuts to employee benefit packages, layoffs of employees, business closure, leaving said raises totally useless.

Gets driven down immensely to maintain the profit margins buyers need from the small business to account for their wage increase, and their suppliers price increase, and so on and so forth.. you would effectively eliminate all the small business and the jobs they provide.

A minimum wage hike to $15hr for example would decimate a small business under 10 people. Suppliers raise their prices, the buyers of your product inflate the price they sell that product for, and in all reality, the market for the product that the small business produces in bulk
