One mistake I see people make with beans is PAR BOIL straight from raw.
Beans is one of the heavily sprayed legumes for pest control, par boiling in hot water will melt everything and they will penetrate further into the beans while you're parboiling it.
You want to SOAK first, let whatever on the surface leach into the water you soaked it in.
Allow the beans to EXPAND in water so it can release all the anti Nutrients that have been concentrated on the surface during drying and processing then storage.
Compare the physical look on your beans before and after soaking and see what im saying.
It looks plumpier and cleaner on the surface.
You can soak overnight for even better result...
Soak your beans for couple of hours before cooking to take the toxins out.. drain that caramel water out..
Then rinse couple of times more to remove any residual irritants before you cook.
Also beans contain over 5 complex sugars which is why people always suffer indigestion with beans...
Soaking will soften the complex sugars and make digestion easier....
Also soften the skin which is where the insoluble fiber is .
So again, SOAKING BEFORE COOKING not PARBOILING First!!
Please DONT ADD SUGAR TO your beans, there are Complex Sugars in beans already.

Once you learn how to shop directly from China, E.g Temù or shien your wardrobe changes completely. Call me cheap I don't care I ain't rich, I don't do fraud.😭
It's knowing what to search for.
Here's my style after making plenty of mistakes.
1. T-shirts:
Skip 100% polyester unless you're buying gym wear.
Instead, search:
• 100% Cotton
• Combed Cotton
• Heavyweight Cotton
• 240-300 GSM Cotton
• Premium Cotton
• Mercerized Cotton
The heavier the GSM, the thicker and more premium the shirt usually feels.
2. Jeans:
Denim Jeans
Temu is surprisingly good for denim if you know what to search.
Search:
• Denim Jeans
• Cotton Denim
• Raw Denim
• Selvedge Denim (if available)
• 98% Cotton + 2% Elastane
• 99% Cotton
Avoid jeans with high polyester content. The more cotton, the better they'll age and feel.
3. Body-hug clothing:
Search:
• Ribbed Knit
• Modal
• Viscose Blend
• Cotton-Spandex Blend
They hold their shape much better than cheap polyester.
4. Hoodies
Search:
• 400 GSM
• French Terry
• Cotton Fleece
• Heavyweight Hoodie
5. Chains
Search:
• 316L Stainless Steel
• Titanium Steel
• PVD Gold Plated
• Vacuum Plated
These are far more resistant to fading than ordinary fashion jewelry.
6. Earrings
Search:
• 925 Sterling Silver
• 316L Stainless Steel
• Hypoallergenic
• Moissanite (if you're buying stones)
7. Scarves
Search:
• Mulberry Silk
• Silk Blend
• Cashmere Blend
• Wool Blend
• Viscose
Avoid the shiny, thin polyester scarves if you're after a premium look.
8. Loafers
Search:
• Genuine Leather
• Cow Leather
• Full Grain Leather (rare but worth looking for)
• Rubber Outsole
9. Sneakers
Search:
• Rubber Outsole
• EVA Midsole
• Breathable Mesh
• Leather Upper
• Stitched Sole
Pictures lie a lot
The description usually tells the truth.
Here's how I shop:
1. Read the material composition before anything else.
2. Sort by Most Orders or Best Selling, not cheapest.
3. Only buy products with lots of reviews or pictures or even better when a Nigerian has purchased it before they always tell the truth.
4. Read the 1-star reviews first. They'll tell you what the seller won't.
5. Look at customer photos, not the product photos.
6. Check the weight of the product. Better quality clothing is often heavier.
7. Read the size chart. Don't assume your Nigerian size matches.
8. If the title has words like "luxury," "premium," or "designer" but the material is 100% polyester, not everything but still move on.
Your best friend isn't the product picture.
It's the material, the reviews, and the customer photos.
That's how you separate the gems from the junk.
I hope this help.

Things are happening in this Lagos o and it’s unfair to law abiding citizens. If you don’t mix with people, you won’t hear things.
Between Ketu and Mile 12, these boys snatch phones inside traffic. They jump to snatch phones inside BRT. They pickpocket at Mile 12 and Ketu. If you try to hustle bus to Ikorodu thinking you are struggling with fellow passengers, phones ti lor.
Some days ago, two women were pickpocketed at Mile 12 losing 3 phones while rushing bus. Two iPhone 12 pro and one 13 pro max. They didn’t even know until one was looking for hers and told the other to switch on her phone torch for her 😭😭
Thank God, they got to the area and the tracking started. Someone who knows someone who knows someone who knows someone who knows someone helped them to enter Mile 12 deepest home of bad boys. They paid 20 for connection and they were to pay 50k each on the phones if they can find it.
This is no joke, over 50 phones were brought out. Over 50 iPhones and theirs were not even there. The bad guys had to agree that it’s another sect that carried out the operation and their phones should already be in Mushin. They had to reach out to the buyer from Mushin who tried but from the many phones with him, none belonged to them. He already told them he will only release each phone at 100k. Certainly, the phones were in the hands of another sect.
The crime ring is very deep. These boys have buyers who will sell the phones in pieces. While they were still inside the lungu, boys came in with iPhone 13 and 15 pro max that they just snatched. Another victim 😭.
These boys are everywhere. Mushin, Ikorodu Garage, Mile 12, Ketu, Mile 2, Alakija, Oshodi, everywhere but they have standby buyers.
We don’t have government who will help us. They do all these in front of Mile 12 police station and nobody will do anything.
Be security conscious because you have no one. Hold your phone in your hand when you struggle for bus. 🙏🙏
Before you pass away, Remove your kids as direct beneficiaries of your assets. Then place all your assets in a revocable trust and name your kids as the beneficiary of the trust. This allows them to by pass the lengthy probate process and gain immediate access to the assets.
This girl literally said, “If you are short on money for something read Psalms 102. Write down what you need, put it in Psalms 102, read it and God will give you exactly what you need.”
