A problem I have noticed is the inactivity of young children especially in terms of creativity and unstructured play. It has a large impact on a young child's development in terms of cognitive, emotional and social development and should be addressed. #EM203Robin#EM203Problem

Prior to this semester I don't think I would of paid any attention to tweets such as this but this course has entirely changed my perspective on them #EM203Robin
The research team found that the thinking scaffolds — the prompts and support instructors used to guide students through the curriculum and activities — were instrumental in generating a shift towards more expert-level reasoning. https://t.co/hRuIC0i3Ee
Being a part of this class for the past couple weeks have allowed me to learn a lot about various learning theories, for example the constructivism theory that my group discussed. I am excited and eager to continue to learn more throughout the course content! #EM203Robin
@EM203zbarbara Hi Zack, I think one of the best parts about this course is the style of learning and ability to do things on our own. Being able to be in the drivers seat and take control of the schedule makes learning, reading and doing assignments so much more enjoyable and more effective.
@EM203roliva Hi Renee, prior to this course I never thought of learning as something that was done through social platforms. I had the impression it was done through books and classrooms and with this class it has broadened my knowledge about the different avenues and strategies of learning.
@EM203nlefebvre Hi Nicole, I am with you in terms of the tasks asked of us to do and the impact they are having on myself. They are fun and peak my interest while using a social platform that I have had for an extended period of time but have not understood the influence it can have.
@EM203SAMA Hi Sam, I think it is amazing the amount of information that we are learning about and it has only been 3 weeks. I have already learned a bunch about history, learning theories, and strategies and like yourself am looking forward to uncovering more.
@em203christina Hi Christina, I could not agree more with you in terms of the expansion of the digital age and with this comes strategies, tools and room for improvement along the way. I am very intrigued about where the course will lead from here and the new information being presented.
My viewpoint on learning has completely changed in these first few weeks of class. The learning theories, available technology and tools, applications and possible avenues learning can go down is intriguing and I cannot wait to see what the rest of the class brings. #EM203Robin
