Hello @ONeducation, As a student at Wilfrid Laurier University, I would like to inquire about some of the barriers to equity in the education system that many students face and how you plan to fix them for all schools across Ontario.
We need teachers to help struggling students and not just ignore them or expect them to catch up by themselves. We need enough teachers willing to help and teach all students, even the difficult ones.
I find it immensely saddening that in this day and age where we have billionaires, some of us have to fight to survive and can barely afford to make ends meet. Even though the rich have the means to help those less fortunate, they choose not to.
Honestly, if I sound upset, I am.
I do not and will not accept that it is okay - that families are struggling to afford groceries, while greedy CEOs feel entitled to make record profits and millions of dollars in bonuses.
Shame on you Mr. Weston.

Although it is crucial, civil rights are still a problem in today's society when it comes to education. Without these fundamental rights, how can students be prepared for the future. #EM203Robin#EM203Research

@EM203ESanni A problem I connected to the public education branch of your concept map is that people may not have access to a public education. #EM203problems

@EM203CarlyL Great concept map! Ground pollution, such as the effects of dangerous chemicals and pesticides on the environment, is something you may have covered. #EM203Problems
@em203kploj The fact that not everyone has access to technology for education is a major issue with educational hurdles. As a result, not everyone has access to the same educational resources, and poverty is a major factor in this. #EM203Problems
@Em203LDawdy Possibly another factor to take into account is one's financial health, as many of your recommendations, including food and exercise, may strongly depend on one's financial security. #EM203Problems
@EM203AKung Hey Allen! I also went into the course not knowing what to expect, but this course has exceeded my expectations. I am so lucky that I took it because I am really enjoying this class, and it is helping me to realize how attached my life is to the digital world.
@Em203BCarr Ben, hey! For my challenge, I also completed a Sudoku, which I found to be both incredibly entertaining and difficult because it was my first time completing one. It took me some time to figure it out, but I had a great time learning.
@EM203ltomas Hey, Lindsay! That's a really good argument; this course is so engaging and offers so many more opportunities for conversation than any other I've taken. Hearing other people's perspectives on the class and their views makes it much more fascinating.
@EM203ellenzhou I completely agree with you, Ellen. Over the first three weeks, I learned a lot about different learning styles, and just the act of setting up my first Twitter account helped me realise how much knowledge is available on these platforms.
@EM203EFletcher Elizabeth, I completely agree with you. I became aware of how challenging it is to balance studying and watching a show in the background when I started school. I realized I wasn't absorbing the information properly and was just wasting time.
I have learned a great deal over the past three weeks, like how crucial it is to incorporate the right learning theories for our digital age. Overall, the course material has been interesting, and the course approach is innovative and intriguing. #EM203Robin
