@tsportel I'm curious about your insights on the impact of technology on student study habits. How do you think tech has changed the way students approach studying? Any recommendations on resources you'd suggest to explore? #EM203Robin
Now that we are almost at the end of the Fall term, how do you guys feel high school has prepared you in terms of building good study habits? How has technology either benefitted or harmed your studying? #EM203
As we get closer and closer to our final exams I want to remind everyone the importance of getting an early start to your studying. Stop procrastinating and study hard now so you aren't overstressed later!
Throughout my time in university so far, I've realized that many students, including myself, have ineffective study habits. Here is an article and photo by Harvard University which goes through their advice on developing effective learning practices!

In 2018, 13-year-old Jaequan Faulkner started a small business selling $2 hot dogs with $1 sodas and chips from a stand in front of his house in Minnesota.
But his small business was in jeopardy after someone reported him to the Minneapolis Health Department.
Impressed by the young man’s drive, health inspectors decided to teach the young entrepreneur about proper food handling to assist him in getting his hot dog stand up to code.
The teen’s stand passed inspection, and it was the inspectors themselves who paid the $87 fee for his “short-term food permit."
A reminder: the people in power don’t need conferences, treaties or agreements to start taking real climate action. They can start today.
When enough people come together then change will come and we can achieve almost anything. So instead of looking for hope - start creating it.
Through the first couple weeks of EM203, we have had the chance to look deeper into the digital age. I enjoyed taking a deep dive into the learning theories, specifically connectivism. I am super excited for what is to come in the rest of the term.

@EM203alexb This is such an interesting take, Alex! I never looked at it from this perspective and to see how technology allows us to even see different perspectives is so enlightening. 🤯
@EM203AbdulKhan Stay hungry for knowledge, Abdul! I'm just wondering, what's been your favorite lesson so far in the course? For me it was definitely learning how to solve a hard Sudoku.
@EM203AlexLebel It's so interesting that we're even using an online platform to communicate these thoughts! It's so easy to connect the material we learn in this course to our daily lives and I don't think I've ever had a course with such a direct link to my life.
@EM203srhodes Such a great take, Sam! Taking this course has led to many interesting conversations for me about how differently each individual processes information. Especially seeing the difference between different generations has been truly fascinating.
@NimaKPourWLU I couldn't agree more, Nima! I've looking back at my high school years and to see how having access to technology helped me gain a better understating difficult concepts has been truly an eye-opening experience for me as well.
EM203 has been a very informative and fun course so far, and has taught me new ways of learning by utilizing our ever growing technologies. I absolutely recommend the course. #EM203Robin
