This article explains that procrastination is linked to motivation and lack of confidence, not laziness. Instances like fear of failure and poor organization are causes of it. The article also gives tips to build strong study habits. #EM203Research
@EM203aeberts from your concept map, a clear issue associated with online education is procrastination. By rushing to learn something, it causes a weaker understanding of topics making students not do as well academically and it causes increased stress. #EM203problems
@em203_hbath I chose non-stop information overload as my associated problem to your topic. The constant stream of notifications and expectations that purposefully pull people in, increases stress while making the addiction to being online worse. #EM203problems
@EM203DBlack Hi Dylan, thank you for sharing! I relate to what you said because I find I am able to understand something better by interacting with the information or other people through discussions. I also found learning about the different learning theories interesting.
@EM203mblythe Hi Matthew, I find it interesting that you chose to learn the tango in week 3. I completely agree that learning becomes more engaging when it's hands on. I find it easier to learn something new when I enjoy what I'm doing. Thanks for sharing!
@EM203GSolomes Hi Gabriel, I also enjoyed learning about the 3 Ms. Thank you for sharing what you enjoyed learning about in the first 3 weeks of the course!
Week 1 made me think about how I use the internet for learning and not just for entertainment like YouTube. Week 2 taught me about what Cognitivism is and how it is used in teaching. Week 3 taught me how to make learning more engaging through different types of media. #EM203Robin
