@EM203RMurphy I agree that the nature of knowledge is changing a lot! I think in a way it has shortened my attention span because of how quick it is to find answers through quick google searches instead of reading articles

@EM203RMurphy Hey Rachel, it's crazy to think when we were younger, television and computers needed giant boxes behind them in able to project. Now everything is slim and screens could be hung up on walls. It is also funny now how some new phones are designed to be flippable!

@Krish0630 Hey Krish! I too am interested in how the transition back from online learning to in-person will affect personal learning. Learning could be challenged by needing to wake up earlier, walk to campus in the snow, etc. I guess we'll see within the weeks to come!

@EM203MPAVLIV Hi Marta, it is interesting learning about the positives and negatives of technology. Acquiring information has been much easier now, but it also feels like there is a lot of information that is not always right.

@em203natreusch Hi! I find concept maps very useful especially in some of the courses taught at Laurier. Concept maps have really helped me understand theories and solutions that are usually more difficult during lectures. Great post!

@tyler_wildfong_ Hi Tyler! I find advancement in technology great for education as it makes everything more efficient. However, I personally still rely on pencil and paper when writing notes as it helps me understand course content. Has your learning style changed from technology?

The first three weeks of EM203 have been very interesting. I have learned new theories such as constructivism and how it applies to group learning and education. I've also realized the strength of social media and how accessible information can be. #EM203Robin
