This is a great article discussing how unequal access to green spaces can have adverse effects on both physical and mental health. #EM203Robin
Great to see @EM203CVanDorp's concept map on traffic congestion. One big issue is the growing population without public transportation systems to support it leading to increased road traffic. #EM203problems
Just looked at @EM203lindachen's great concept map. I definitely think that the increasing wait times to see doctors due to a shortage is a major issue when discussing health. #EM203problems
Great concept map constructed by @EM203JHanna. Looking at the effects of climate change on health, one problem is definitely the rise in zoonotic diseases like Covid-19 due to increased environmental disruption. #EM203problems
@EM203WMont Air pollution and the resulting air quality creates a harmful environment for all wildlife and species around the area which leads to harm, and eventually death of nature.
@EM203CBrennan Hey Craig, great post! I also chose to do the sudoku, and while it was challenging at first, it became very enjoyable. On top of that I am very excited to continue exploring the learning theories in the future!
@EM203XManangan Hey Xavier! I definitely agree that this class has been great so far. I definitely enjoyed the 3M's exercise. It really illustrated how multi-tasking, at least for me, is not a viable studying technique.
@EM203MRilling Hey Marcus, Great post! I 100% agree, I had never known how many different theories of learning there were and I am excited to explore one in depth during the first assignment!
@EM203AaronG Hey Aaron! I definitely agree that technology provides a great opportunity to learn in new ways. Excited to continue learning about how it will affect us and the next generation!
@EM203ZAwada Hey Zach, great post! This course has definitely highlighted some of the changes coming to the world of education. Lesson 2 was my favourite thus far!
During the first 3 weeks, I've learned lots! During the first 2 weeks, we explored how the internet makes learning more accessible, providing new avenues for learning theories. This week, we learned about the 3M's & how multitasking makes memorization more difficult. #EM203Robin
