@B12Give Thank you for your reply. I truly find what you are doing to be so inspiring and impactful during a time when there is so much food insecurity. Not only are you helping businesses reduce their food waste but you are creating social change. Thanks for your reply.
@B12Give I am researching the issue of food waste in Canada and its implications at a household and restaurants levels in one of my courses at Laurier. Could you briefly discuss the impact that your app has created towards ending food waste?

@EM203CMurphy I find your proposed solution about the app very interesting. It would be very useful for both hospitals and patients to know the waiting room demand to make informative decisions: 1. if a person should go to a different nearby hospital and 2. allocation of hospital resources.
We can still see the implications listed below in today's time as there is such a backlog of surgeries that were not performed during the pandemic as well as the shortage of staff resulting in inadequate resources to provide patients.
Here are 5 easy ways to reduce food waste in your home. Do you use any of these practices or other ones in your home? Let's reduce our food waste together! #zerowase#foodwaste#sustainability#EM203

@EM203CMurphy Thanks for sharing! My dad works in healthcare and he sometimes had to work longer than a 12 hour shift due to the expanded responsibilities and shortage of staff.

This time of year is when we tend to think more about food waste, but composting can and should be done year-round. Please don't put food scraps into your curbside recycling container. There are many solutions now for composting including small, countertop units.
DID YOU KNOW?
2023 will mark the 11th year in a row as the world's largest #zerowaste sporting event for the @wmphoenixopen.
That means nothing from the event goes to a landfill. All materials are recycled, composted, donated or turned into energy.

This article discusses how during the pandemic there was a trend of people who experienced health problems not going to the doctor to receive medical help because of the COVID-19 virus.
https://t.co/P50asHCWim This article discusses the little progress made by the world to solving the climate problem related to food waste. Countries have pledged to halve their food waste by 2030. We are now 7 years away and we are nowhere close to doing so. #EM203Robin
