@EM203ScottS Thank you for your reply Scott! I think it is actually important for multiple parties to work on multiple actions simultaneously in order to make a meaningful impact!
@em203nlobo Hey Nicole! As university students, we can do small things that would make a big impact. These include avoid throwing trash in water, reducing plastic consumption and recycling. Instead of using plastic water bottles, invest in a reusable one that you can even refill on campus!
Invasive species are constantly invading Canada's aquatic ecosystems and causing great harm. If we don't take action now, invasive species will continue to destroy biodiversity and effect our economy! Take a look at my solution to this issue :)
I found this website very intriguing and I am thrilled to share it with you guys! It outlines the major threats our great lakes are faced with due to pollution as well as an appropriate and effective solution to the problem. #EM203Clarke Check it out: https://t.co/oSCBk8yKSo
Due to the presence of pollution in Canada's bodies of water, there is a substantial threat posed on aquatic ecosystems. Check it out: https://t.co/osAhMadi3b
Did you know that not all water pollution is visible to the human eye? It is important to understand the harmful effects of invisible pollutants as well as the visible ones. #EM203Problems#Pollution
My son Kade had his 11th birthday party last night. None of his invited friends came. That hurt. I’m asking my Twitter friends to show him some love today. If you have a minute, please send him a birthday wish. @Marner93@91Tavares@MapleLeafs#LeafsForever
@EM203ScottS The number of invasive species in a particular aquatic environment can be directly influenced by how many cargo ships enter new aquatic environments and release their ballast tanks! #EM203Problems#EM203Clarke
@EM203SatoF Hey Frederick, I have also learned so much about learning theories and it is definitely interesting to understand that everyone learns best in a different way and also how the best learning technique could depend on what you are learning!
@SarahSa42846831 I agree that this course has taught me so much about myself! You are totally correct when you say that our generation is highly dependant on technology, which I think has its benefits (fostering learning) but also has its drawbacks (distracting when learning).
@EM203KaleighC I totally agree that this course has taught me a lot about learning in our digital age! I also found the multi-tasking memory exercise interesting and was able to focus and remember more words without any background distractions.
@_KathleenClarke Thank you for your reply Dr. Clarke. I completely agree that the best learning technique depends on what you are learning. One class mate had shared that he learns a new language best by behaviourism because he can watch the person's mouth move as he speaks and then follow suit.
As we finish week 3 of EM203, I can definitely say that I've learned so much about different learning theories and how each of us learn differently. Personally, I learn best by behaviourism. I enjoy watching others do tasks before I tackle them myself. How about you? #EM203Clarke
@Em203Zarkech Thank you for your reply! I never thought of how beneficial it would be to learn a new language with the behaviourism learning technique.. very insightful!
@em203nlobo I really enjoyed learning about the different learning theories and it was interesting to see how I learn best myself! Hope you found this topic interesting as well.
