@EM203MChapman I definitely agree with this you. The multitasking lesson was really helpful, especially when working through coursework online where we may be more susceptible to distractions. I personally made some tweaks to my environment to make it easier to focus on schoolwork.
@EM203AGelfand Yup, multitasking is something we are all guilty of, especially myself, and limiting distractions definitely helped me recall more terms in that experiment as well.
@EM203JWeiler Hey Joseph, I agree with you, it’s also been an opportunity way to learn in a realistic way such as interacting over X or in discussions. It will be interesting to learn more about education and the future of its delivery this semester.
@EM203AWhalen It is definitely interesting, especially in terms of the way we interact asynchronously, as opposed to synchronously often times in learning. It helps us gage our own learning styles and tendencies when it comes to learning the course content like digital literacy.
So far in EM203, I’ve learned many lessons, but our recent class on multitasking resonated with me on a personal level. The main idea is that multi tasking, while a valuable tool, is not always optimal when it comes to learning and studying in an academic context. #EM203Robin
