The article talks about how many Canadians are frustrated and find difficulty accessing care. Many Canadians don't have family doctors, however even those that do face challenges. #EM203Research
@EM203myoussef The problem with your concept map is that you have not captured the differing barriers across the multicultural population of Canada. For example, Indigenous populations have more difficulty accessing health care than others. #em203problems
The first few lessons in this course have been very informative and cool because I have not seen anything like it before and I love using Twitter! It's very relatable and centres around the younger generations. I have enjoyed the very interactive lessons. #EM203Robin
@Em203_Mythreyi Hey Mythreyi! Based on your concept map, one problem I would pose is the limited access/education to harm reduction resources there are. How can we raise awareness for these things? #EM203problems
@EM203mmuraki Hey Madeline! From your concept map, one problem I would pose is overcoming the barrier of people who dont’t want to seek out solutions. Stigma or other reasons can hinder them from receiving treatments (either by medication or therapy). #EM203problems
@EM203Kthamber Hey Kiranjot! Looking at your map from Week 5, one problem associated with the funding aspect is education of different coverage programs. In addition to OHIP, some demographics may have benefit programs available to them, but don’t know about them! #EM203problems
@EM203EdenP Hi Eden, I agree, this course has provided an extremely unique way of learning and interacting with students that extends beyond the typical learning format. I’m excited to see what comes next for this class!
@EM203mmilloy Hi Madison, I also am really enjoying how interactive the course is. It’s not what I had expected when I enrolled knowing it was an online course, I’ve really been enjoying it!
@EM203kmarroni Hi Kyiah, I agree completely! I have never used Twitter before this course, however it’s been a very interesting experience. I think that it provides a hands on component to learning unique to anything I’ve done before!
@EM203CMishriky Hey Cyril! I’ve also had the opportunity to learn a lot more about the way I learn and it has been a very eye opening experience! I look forward to continue to learn more about the theory of learning throughout the term!
@em203cmenendez Hi Celia! I completely agree, the course provides a unique opportunity where students can interact outside of the classroom and use a unique platform to do so!
So far, I’ve really enjoyed EM203! I have learned about different learning styles and have gone in more detail with regards to hands-on learning. I have also learned how multitasking affects one’s learning, it’s been very interesting! #EM203Robin
