Hey @CMHInnovation! As final exam season approaches, do you have any advice for Ontario university students who may be feeling stressed and overwhelmed?
York University's Community Newspaper talks about the stress of school on students and mental health decline. Take a look! #EM203Research

@EM203nzelinski I completely agree. The first few lessons taught me so much about how the internet and developing technology can help in a learning environment. It reminded me of the introduction of 'SMART' boards in high schools and how great they were for learning
@SamanShafiq6 A problem that I identified with your concept map is that many people are unaware of the global warming crisis. Whether this be because they are ignorant or they have not been told or exposed to the concerns surrounding our planet, there is a big gap in information
@em203ashley Hi Ashley! A problem I identified with your concept map was that there needs to be more access to clean drinking water. Maybe you could consider Indigenous communities across Canada who have been lacking clean drinking water for many years.
@FalconerTalia Hi Talia! great question. Yes, I did mean mental health along with physical health. I believe that the two are connected. I.e. if I save my money, I can afford to do the things that make me happy (like travel).
@EM203VictoriaG@EM203TTanga I like your connection to online information and global barriers! It is incredible to think about this in relation to activism and how people can use social media to reach out to people in countries that are in need of support.
@TParkhill_EM203 I agree with you Thomas. This course has shown me how helpful online learning can be when balancing a whole course load. I appreciate how I am able to do the readings and lessons on my own time.
@em203chris I completely agree Christopher. I think that it is important that we realize how lucky we are to have access to such advanced technologies and realize that not everyone in Canada has this privilege!
@Em203Lee I know! I can't believe how easy it is to interact with one another online. However, sometimes I wonder if this has more negative effects than positive on our personal relationships...this is something we should think about more often
@EM203MWright I completely agree! I think that the Internet has allowed us to become lazy learners and we do not critically engage with content as much as we should be.
The first few lessons in this course have shown me how helpful the Internet and new media technologies can be in a learning environment. Although technology can be distracting at times, students can use it as a tool to benefit their educational experience. #EM203Robin
