So, a little out of area trip yesterday to Manchester.
1 hour 30mins late but the look on the patients face when we turned up and again once we got back to the patients address. A welcome from 3 dogs, oh and of course the partner. This is why I love my job.

East Midlands Ambulance Service NHS Trust (EMAS) has this evening declared a critical incident (as at 18.00 hours, Monday 6 January 2025).
More information on what this means is on our website: https://t.co/jAOwteKGhr
If you've called 999 for emergency help, only call us back if the patient's condition changes. Our Emergency Medical Advisor can't say when an ambulance will be with you, and this blocks a line for a new life-threatening emergency call.
Our emergency ambulance service is here to attend to the most seriously ill people.
You can help us get to patients who need the life-saving equipment and clinical skills on board, by choosing the best service for your needs.

East Midlands Ambulance Service NHS Trust wholeheartedly condemns the riots, racism and Islamophobia that have taken place across our country over recent days.
