Ukraine has proposed stopping the war along current frontlines and turning to diplomacy, but the Kremlin continues to reject this clear path to peace. Putin’s spokesman has already dismissed the Kazakh President’s proposal as well.

The bottom line: Moscow must feel more pressure before it accepts realistic peace proposals.

On the eve of their professional holiday, I presented state awards to our healthcare professionals and handed decorations to the families of the medics who lost their lives and were honored posthumously.

Today, Ukrainian healthcare professionals – your resilience and your dedication – are an example to all of us and to the entire world. Despite extraordinarily difficult conditions and an immense, constant workload, you continue to do your job. Every day you work brings more Ukrainian lives saved and advances our healthcare system.

We are building a rehabilitation system that will undoubtedly become one of the strongest in Europe. Hundreds of rehabilitation facilities are already operating across Ukraine. Every day, our healthcare professionals conduct more than 17,000 therapy sessions – six times as many as at the beginning of this war. We are building a modern mental health system. Thank you to everyone helping our people cope with loss, anxiety, exhaustion, and the consequences of war. We are also developing our transplant system. Since the start of this war, our medical teams have performed nearly 2,500 transplants. These are not just statistics – it's all about the people who have been given a chance to live. Our teams evacuating the wounded from different sectors of the front have already saved more than 80,000 people.

I thank you for your professionalism, resilience, and humanity. And most of all, thank you for every life you have saved.

Ukraine continues applying long‑range sanctions in response to Russian strikes. Last night, the warriors of our Defense Forces hit targets across different regions of Russia that are fueling this war.

Once again, a plant in Kirov was struck – the one supplying components for the weapons Russia uses to attack our people. That’s about 1,200 kilometers from Ukraine’s border. Also hit were an oil refinery in Tyumen, a logistics facility in Yekaterinburg, and a fuel and lubricants depot in Rostov‑on‑Don. We also achieved very strong results with long‑range strikes in the Caspian Sea – including vessels used in military cargo shipments involving Iran, as well as a warship.

Today's ratification by Ukraine’s Verkhovna Rada of the Ukraine–Türkiye Free Trade Agreement is a major milestone in our bilateral relations.

I sincerely thank the Members of Parliament for supporting this important decision. This agreement is the result of many years of dedicated and sometimes challenging work, and today's vote turns our shared efforts into a tangible achievement.

The Agreement opens a new chapter in expanding trade, investment, and economic cooperation between our countries, creating new opportunities for businesses and people on both sides.

As strategic partners, Ukraine and Türkiye are strengthening not only our economic resilience but also the foundations of long-term prosperity and stability in the Black Sea region and beyond.

President Trump and I have reached an important deal on licenses to produce Patriot systems. Our teams are now working to implement this truly historic political agreement. We worked toward this for a very long time.

But we always stress one thing – the more diverse our defense is, the harder it will be for our enemies to undermine security in Europe. That is why we need to move faster on Patriots, and SAMP/T, IRIS-T, NASAMS, and, of course, our FREYJA project.

I believe Europe can provide itself with enough protection against any ballistic threat. And Europe can also become a strong contributor to global security.

We have completely eliminated the very idea of Russia having a strategic rear.

For a long time, Russia believed it had a territorial advantage no one else possEssed – a deep rear where it could safely keep military production, military equipment, and everything its war depends on, believing no one could reach them.

We have reached them. Just yesterday, Ukrainian drones broke-through Russia’s defenses and struck a Russian oil-refinery in Siberia. This is not an exception. It is the new reality. There is no major oil-refinery left in Russia that has not been struck by Ukraine.

Two years ago, Russia struck Ohmatdyt, Ukraine's largest children's hospital.

A missile hit a place where children were fighting cancer, recovering from transplants, and receiving other life-saving treatment. Around 600 young patients, along with doctors, nurses, and parents, were inside at the time.

The attack destroyed and damaged several hospital buildings, killed two people, and injured dozens more. Young patients had to be evacuated while doctors continued caring for them outside the damaged buildings.

Two years later, Russia continues its campaign of terror, deliberately targeting civilians. Homes, schools, and playgrounds have all become targets of its attacks.

We will not forget the strike on Ohmatdyt or the countless other atrocities Russia has committed. Russia must be held fully accountable for every crime – against children, against civilians, against humanity.

An important meeting for our bilateral cooperation with Prime Minister of Bulgaria Rumen Radev. Our countries need strong relations, and today we discussed this. In particular, energy issues – we can implement a lot together, especially on LNG. Europe’s dependence on Russian energy resources is decreasing, and it is important that partners have alternatives. Rumen spoke about his diplomatic contacts and what Bulgaria is doing for security in the Black Sea. We agreed that our teams will stay in touch. I invited Mr. Prime Minister to Ukraine. Thank you.

Ukraine is giving a fully justified response to Russia striking our country and prolonging the war.

Today, our long-range sanctions reached the Saratov region, Tatarstan, and Bashkortostan – roughly 800, 1,400, and 1,500 kilometers from the front line. They also reached the Voronezh region – about 300 kilometers from our border.

I thank the warriors of the Unmanned Systems Forces and the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine, and our intelligence agencies for their accuracy.

The Saratov oil refinery was hit. Warriors of the Special Operations Forces struck an oil refinery in Tatarstan.

Russians must feel that their state is waging this war. I thank everyone who helps defend Ukraine!

We spoke about our EU accession. I reiterated our long-standing position that Ukraine, Moldova, and Western Balkan states are partners, not competitors, on this path.

I also congratulated my colleague on Montenegro's remarkable progress on its path to joining the EU.

We agreed on the importance of further developing the Ukraine-Southeast Europe format.

This was a horrific night in Kyiv. Over 20 ballistic missiles. At least 11 killed and dozens injured, including children.

Protect Ukrainian children from Russian ballistic terror! No task is more urgent. This is our main message to the NATO summit this week.

As world leaders are departing for Ankara, I wish they heard what families in Kyiv heard this night.

One of the most brutal attacks with dozens of ballistic missiles. A horrific cannonade of loud explosions one after another.

Russian terrorists struck sleeping civilians, targeting residential high-rises to maximize casualties.

In one of the districts, an entire killed family has been taken out of the rubble: mother, father, and child.

Rescue operations continue and sadly, the numbers are likely to grow.

Putin’s message to Ankara is simple: he is going to point ballistic missiles at sleeping children and continue the murder as long as he can.

What will the leaders of the Alliance respond?

This is not the time for weak steps anymore. They will only encourage Moscow to continue and expand terror beyond Ukraine.

The strongest outcome of the Ankara Summit is to increase Ukraine’s capabilities to protect our children from Russian ballistic terror. We need real steps.

PAC-3 missiles were created to serve the goal of protecting people from such barbarism.

There are thousands of them in storage around the world, kept for potential threats.

But the threats in Ukraine are not potential! Russian missiles are killing people every week.

Ukraine is currently the only country in the world facing ballistic attacks every single week. The means of protection from this terror need to be here.

And we need all decisions on air defense now, not later. Because for us, the time is measured in human lives.

Last night, Kyiv came under a massive Russian attack. Russia launched 68 missiles and 351 attack drones. Response efforts are still underway. Damage has been recorded at more than 10 locations across the city, including residential buildings. All necessary services are on the ground, doing everything possible to rescue people and provide assistance to everyone who needs it. So far, 64 people have been rescued, including two children. As of now, it has been confirmed that, tragically, eleven people were killed in this attack. My condolences to their families and loved ones. Around 60 more people were injured.

In the Kyiv region, sixteen people were injured and three people were killed. My condolences to their families and loved ones. A fire is still burning at the site of the missile strike in Vyshneve. People are being evacuated from a residential area. More than 400 first responders and police officers have been deployed to deal with the aftermath of the attack.

Our warriors performed well today in intercepting drones and cruise missiles, but unfortunately not Russian ballistic missiles. And the reason lies in the insufficient supply of interceptor missiles. It is critically important that the world – first and foremost the United States and our European partners – come out of the NATO Summit in Ankara with strong decisions in support of our air defense, and thus the protection of ordinary people’s lives. As long as Patriot missiles remain in our allies' stockpiles, Russia is only encouraged to keep “vanquishing” residential buildings. The United States and Europe have enough strength to stop this terror.
