Airtel's new strategy:
After completing most of its 5G rollout
Airtel is now focusing on AI and premium plans to increase revenue
Instead of adding more users, the company wants existing customers to upgrade to higher-value plans and use more digital services like cloud, cybersecurity, and AI solutions
Why should Airtel or any telecom company decide how I spend the data I PAY for? 🚨
- Unlimited 5G is marketed everywhere, yet the moment you turn on "hotspot" on your phone it stops being unlimited. We are not asking for free data, we are asking for the data we already bought.
- People are now openly sharing TTL tips and tricks, VPNs & tweaks just to use their own mobile data on laptop or family devices. Why are we forced into these workarounds?
- Why I can't use my own 5G mobile data on my laptop or tablet for studies and work?
- Companies can change rules quietly in fine print but we can't even question "how we use what we pay for"?
Dear @TRAI, you're the regulator. Why no clear guidelines on what "unlimited" actually means for paying customers?
Tbh, I'll simply port to Jio and move on, but this shouldn't be the only option.
Fair usage is okay. Hidden limits and control are not in 2026
If you are using AIRTEL SIM then read this ⬇️
Now you can't use Unlimited 5G Data via mobile hotspots. All this came after continuous price hike of over 43% over last 5 years.
Almost sure Jio will follow because that's what a duopoly does to a country.
You won't be able to connect your laptop to your mobile data now. Bad news for students mostly.
While this is totally normal in the countries like US (yes, they have seperate hotspot plans) I wonder how this is going to work for sensitive markets like India.
It will affect many students and WFH people who don't have dedicated broadband connection at home.
Duopolies are bad for consumers. The way these companies control their customers is unethical and unfair to millions of people.
The court must take strong action against Airtel for violating consumers freedom of choice.
And already have 300GB limit, this is un communicated when the deal is advertised as “unlimited”
In a sane country Airtel would have been asked to pay consumers for misleading and refund recharge charges
We already saw reports that Airtel doesn't allow Unlimited 5G data sharing via mobile hotspot.
Now, it is officially mentioned on Airtel's website that mobile hotspot is not allowed on its Unlimited 5G mobile data plan.
The 300GB monthly data cap has also been there since the beginning.
Airtel is currently offering 5G NSA, which is an enhanced 4G-based network.
However, reports in February this year claimed that Airtel would start upgrading to 5G SA, the true standalone 5G network that Jio has been offering since day one.
Reminder to all online buyers: @Flipkart can hold your paid product in their local warehouse for 7 days, manipulate tracking data, and block your number! 🤯❌
When asked for financial compensation for the delay and mental agony, their defense is: "Blame the seller, not us!" But the seller shipped it on time!
Consumer is NOT a joke. The fight for accountability continues in the Consumer Commission. Case Ref: 202607080950.

@jagograhakjago
Using an Airtel Black plan and my internet suddenly stopped working. Customer care says I've exhausted the 300GB data limit.
The Airtel app only shows Unlimited Data nowhere does it mention a 300GB cap. And where is my data when i get every month with my plan ?
What exactly is unlimited about this?
To make things worse, there are no data add-on packs available either.
Such a pathetic experience @airtelindia
Biggest scam. 🤡
Unlimited 5G comes with a 300GB monthly cap.
You can't share your Unlimited 5G via hotspot.
If you're a postpaid user, you don't even get a daily data quota your plan just shows 'Unlimited'
Once you hit 300GB in a month, your data stops.
And the worst part? You can't even buy an extra data add-on because there's no option for it. 😭
Such a Pathetic move @Airtel_Presence@airtelindia
Airtel 5G is a scam
> Runs on NSA towers (4G infrastructure)
> The so-called unlimited 5G has a cap of 300GB
> It doesn’t even use 5G most of the time and consumes from your daily limit
> You can’t use 5G for hotspot
Also, if your pack expires in a few days, they start spamming you with calls and messages to recharge, before stopping incoming calls entirely
I’m only keeping my Airtel SIM coz Jio’s network sucks in my bedroom 🥀
SHAMEFUL CONFESSION! @Flipkart Executive literally admitted on call that their own Ekart Delivery Team is NOT picking up their calls! 🤯❌
They are desperately calling and pressurizing me to 'CANCEL' the order from my end just to save their skin from the Consumer Court!
When I asked for compensation for this continuous 7-day mental harassment and fake back-dated delivery updates, the executive arrogantly said: "
I guarantee you 100% that you will NOT get any compensation."
Who gave Flipkart the right to dictate terms above the Indian Law?
I will NOT cancel my order. If your hub has damaged or misplaced my product, answer this officially in court!
My case is officially locked and active in Nagpur District Consumer Court (Ref No: 202607080950).
Let's see if you can skip the Judge's order like you skip your delivery dates! ⚖️👇

Dear @Flipkart,
This is the worst customer support experience I have ever had.
I purchased a 1.5 Ton AC on 11 June. The copper pipe was missing from the package, and your own support team instructed me to buy it separately with a promise of reimbursement.
It’s been over a month.
I have called your customer care more than 20 times, and all I get is the same scripted response: “Please wait another 48 hours.”
I paid ₹4,000, but your team approved only ₹3,500 without any explanation. On top of that, you’re forcing me to accept the refund in the Flipkart Wallet instead of crediting it back to my bank account, despite my repeated requests.
This is nothing but harassment of a genuine customer. Your promises mean nothing if all you do is delay and mislead people.
Incident ID: IN26061218550965669725
If this issue is not resolved immediately, I will pursue legal action through the consumer forum and share my complete experience publicly so others know how customers are being treated.
