Don't reach out to organisations for help with recruitment if you're not gonna do the work to create a good and sustainable culture that's inclusive and going to empower and keep your female co-workers of colour 🤷🏾♀️
One thing I've realised while working with @EMMSTech is that some companies want to work with us or want our helping reaching the community but honestly, I can't with good conscious tell my community to work for you when I know they won't be treated right at your company.
I just read 11 different public statements made by CEOs today condemning what happened in DC.
Not a single one used the word "white supremacy" (or white, white privilege, whiteness, race, or racism).
Not. One.
How are we going to fix anything without naming the actual problem?

A big lesson that hit me right at the end of 2020 is that you can’t underestimate/undervalue yourself around people because they will take it and run with it! Be humble but don’t let people forget who you are
