almost no retail participants are in profit right now. most of them are either breakeven on their previous cycle investments or only now starting to go long.

typically, before a major top. retail investors are euphoric, seeing 1-3x returns on their investments. they believe crypto is the future and boast about their gains to all their friends.

this is the opportunity for us crypto nerds. if you can size a liquid play like "PEPE" and take advantage of its 100-200% gains. which will drive retail euphoria, you can make a lot of money.

at family BBQ I was having a conversation with little brother that works in corporate finance about how destructive the X feed & groupchats can be during a bull trend.

I have also been through this in past cycles but one of the main reasons you underperform & end up giving away your positions is because you get influenced by other people’s ideas, gains & lies. reality is everyone of us have different life situations.

breaking it down you would be much better off focusing on BTC & SOL with heavier leverage relative to portfolio & riding them the whole way up, but instead you gamble on the side with alts because your uPNL is green on majors.

weekly low is in on most alts after last week's close.

stay with your top 3-5 alt coin picks. you will see people calling for new coins every day. HOLD your coins & add on daily retests. one day AI coins will go up, other day BRC20's will go up & then Memes will go up. if you keep chasing coins you will lose money.

my book currently consists of SOL as my main compound long that I rotate all my perp profits into. leverage I am long SATS, ORDI, RATS as I strongly believe in BRC20's & finally RNDR as my AI exposure.

key is no one can tell you what a good "investment" is. I see so much judgement on crypto twitter about what is good & not good. there is plan for all of you. if you stay disciplined & true to yourself YOU WILL make it.
