Welp, I stuck with Twitter for my EMS people, but the constant barrage of insanity is enough. I'd just like to leave with some words of wisdom. If you see an ambulance running lights and sirens, pull over to the right as far as is safe, ideally off the road. That is all.
@ABC Congrats, the replies to this post have convinced me there's nothing left for me on Twitter. The caption clearly states, "doctors say not to worry," yet all the top comments are about fear mongering. Yeah.
@Google Please sunset walk mode on maps. I use your product to get to patients, and can't walk, I kinda have to bring the ambulance. The dots leading the way are hard to see, and the isometric view is garbage. We can still walk using the good map.
There are no strangers here, only friends you haven't met yet." - William Butler Yeats.
Happy St. Patrick's Day to our EMS friends. We hope you enjoy the day!
@RndmStreetMedic These comments are depressing. All the parental warriors worried about the wrong things. Or maybe it's just twitter? Nah, the world is a garbage fire. Keep protecting your pt's.

1. A russian soldier surrenders to a #Ukrainian#drone by offering a trade. What is this thing that the russian is offering in exchange for his life? Is this a fair exchange?
I got kicked in the face while loading a gurney into the ambo once. When I came to, the seatbelts were all still buckled and my ladder crew along with 5 cops had the pt pinned to the ground and my medic was screaming at him โDONT FUCKIN TOUCH MY EMTโ

It's one thing when I can't sleep because I'm running my calls. It's entirely another thing when I can't sleep because someone else is unwilling to run theirs.
