Our usual Midsummer Music concert being cancelled didn't stop us from bringing music to our Friends! Julia Desbruslais and Margaret gave 8 wonderful mini concerts in people's front gardens. Neighbours came and everyone enjoyed live music again!

Last week, we celebrated 90 years of Benslow music with @Benslow_Music. We gave three concerts at three care homes around Hitchin. We had a big group of amateur musicians and @MartinSmithVln on the violin. This is us performing at Foxholes Care Home in their orangery! #music

Today, Margaret and Martin Smith went to The Link Primary School to give their carnival workshop to another set of wonderful children. This is a special needs school and they all engaged with the music really well. We had a good day like always, and hopefully the school did too!
Sublime evening with @Terciarealidad exploring his transcription of Bach's Goldberg variations that he first performed in a little station in Poland. Incredible how he manages to get all the notes of a piano onto a violin! #musicmatters#bach#violin#croydon
Tonight at Music Matters, @Terciarealidad will be performing his own transcription of Bach’s Goldberg Variations. This is going to be a beautiful evening, so please join us! 7 for 7.30, The Chapel at Whitgift House, S. Croydon. Tickets are £12 #musicmatters#music#concert#bach
Yesterday Margaret was joined with Martin Smith on the violin to give carnival workshops at St Nicholas School. It’s always a pleasure to work here, and it was no different this time. The children were delightful to make music with and we had a lovely day! #music#charity
Margaret opened this season of Music Matters last Tuesday with her "Clutter of Clarinets" - a lively and fascinating music talk featuring 8 of her clarinets with music from the 1700s to the 1980s. It was a wonderful start! #music#concert#charity#musicmatters
