The fact that I’m getting recognized as the “Should I Open it” guy now more than Deep Pocket Monster at Card Shops and events is wild to me 🤣

The number of digletts I’ve signed and times I’ve had to show my thumbs as “proof” is too much to count.

Good lesson for content creators through - taking the thing that everyone was making fun of me for (my club thumbs) and making it a part of the brand. Now anytime anyone sees a diglett / diction (or maybe Megan Fox’s thumbs lol) the channel comes to mind.

I did the same thing with my obsession with Back to the Future in my entrepreneurial brand - so much so that in 2015, the 30 year anniversary of BTTF, I was DM’d over 1000 times when news about BTTF came up.

All this stuff I talk about in my book Superfans, and the Pokemon channel is literally me re-demonstrating what works in community building and branding. 👍
