Agree.
While #COVID is widely circulating, post organ transplant recipients and other vulnerable people with 3/4 shots should be able to get their medications and buy groceries in a fully masked environment.
This is like a lesson in how to facilitate older people while honouring who they are.
What a class act by @ladygaga with legend Liza Minnelli.
The conferred whispers of "I gotcha" "I know" picked up by the mikes make it especially touching.
i just got asked about the “politicization” of choosing to wear a mask. let’s be sure — if you decide to keep wearing a mask tomorrow, it is not a political stance, it’s an act of care/love for those around you and keeping science/evidence in motion.
if you choose to wear a mask indoors, you are not opposed to freedom. instead you might be aiding the freedom of someone who is immunocompromised to be there with you more safely.
Cost & availability of rapid tests around the world:
Germany: 1 euro/rapid test at grocery stores
Britain: 7 free rapid tests/day per household
Singapore: free rapid tests at vending machines
Ontario, Canada: $40/RAPID TEST AT SHOPPERS DRUG MART! 🤯
Protesting is a right-but please, not at hospitals. Patients going in are sick and scared. When I was getting treatment recently a person in cubicle beside me was told nothing more could be done. Imagine then walking through a protest. Please, don't make someone suffer even more
Antivaxxers are planning to protest at hospitals in 10 provinces again on Monday.
Antivaxxers should NOT be allowed to protest outside hospitals, harass health workers & shame patients trying to access care.
RT if you agree
The ICU is full and after this surgery he’s going to need some time in there. BUT hey? He’s not as critical as the person who had the respiratory collapse with COVID. We have to triage. It’s just that the guy with covid could have really helped the guy with cancer. Big time.
From a friend on the private ed side:
“At least one of our peer schools has even purchased rapid molecular testing. The gap between public and private was never about safety before, this is bs.”
Covid-19 isn't going to end but the pandemic will. It has to, even if it still feels interminable. Anxiety, fear, frustration are normal. Patience, hope & will may seem scarce but they will win out. Breathe. Keep your faith. We will beat this. Together.🙏

My heart is broken. Gavin was my brother, my partner in crime (and food) and my comic conspirator. I will see you in a bit Gavin. Tell the gang I will see them in a bit. Betty! It’s just you and me now.
