Snow based ponderings:
All schools should have a list of local Teachers. Ones that could walk to school if horrific snow/flooding etc.
Then if teachers can't drive to the school that they work at, they can be 'snow-supply' for the day at their local school.
Being able to communicate with someone profoundly deaf on the train yesterday and helping them using the basic BSL that I know was the best feeling. I think everyone should be taught sign language on some level, super important!
I'm extremely impressed with this afternoon's @beech_green B team, who handled everything well, showed great teamwork and supported each other during their tournament. 👏
Another amazing day for @beech_green Girls’s football. Year 4/5 took part in a tournament and won four out of five matches. Many of them had never even played in a match before! Fantastic!
Anyone else think that “Teaching Assistant” no longer describes the role in any meaningful way?
The team are highly trained and skilled in so many disciplines and I think the role descriptor should reflect this reality.
Two years ago today: Beth (who I’ve not met since) working to keep me alive, giving me years more life. This is from my ‘Patient Diary’ from when I was in a coma.
Amazing performance from our Girls’ Football Team this afternoon, winning the Quedgeley Cup. They showed nerves of steel in the penalty shoot out and made us all so proud as always. ⚽️ 🏆 🎉
We are currently learning about online safety in PSHE and today we discussed sharing things online. My class chose to share a photo of our dolphin & I would really appreciate as much interaction with this post as possible to show how quickly and how far online posts can spread😌
