Last week the House overwhelmingly passed a bill to reauthorize funding for the nation's 55 Poison Control Centers and the National Poison Control National toll-free hotline. @POTUS is expected to sign the bill soon, continuing these lifesaving programs for an additional 5 years.

On Tuesday, the Surgeon General declared gun violence a public health crisis. This comes days after the Supreme Court overturned a Trump administration policy banning bump stock devices, a move ENA called "disheartening".
