The Ọ̀ṣun State Governor-@AAdeleke_01 has appointed Caretaker Committees across the LGs, LCDAs, and the Area Office. This is after securing approval of the State's House of Assembly.

The inauguration of the Caretaker members will hold today at the Bola Ige House, Àbere.

The Ọsun Assembly today commenced the screening of nominees for positions of Chairmen, Vice Chairmen and Members of Caretaker Committees of Local Governments, Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs) and Area Councils in Osun State.

The screening exercise for the nominees for 30 local government, 32 LCDAs and 7 Area Councils commenced on the floor of the House after I reeled out the names of the nominees as communicated to the House by the Executive Governor of the State, @AAdeleke_01, in line with constitutional provisions.

The Assembly will expedite the screening process to facilitate quick reorganization of the Local Councils for optimal service delivery.
